My Entry for DevaintArt's Draw this Again Challenge

Hiya!
This is my entry for the Draw This Again Contest.

I kinda found out bout this contest last minute but I decided to take my try at it even though I started drawing it day before yesterday and managed to finish it yesterday.
I decided to redo my Orihime and Rukia fanart since I liked it but I knew compared to how my art is now that it would need to be improved

As you can see, on the right is the 2010 version:

On the left is the new (and hopefully improved version) of that same drawing I just recently finished here:

I hope you all like it. ^^

Bad News about one of my Latest Videos

Some of you might remember that I posted a Lego Bleach animation on Youtube some time back.
Well I woke this morning to an email stating that I may have content that is owned or licensed by Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc..and that no action was required on my part.
However, learning how this affected my video, I was not pleased. They took the sound off (Music from Bleach's 2nd Opening) which is what makes the video. I'm quite frustrated because people can put up AMVs (Anime Music Videos), Full fricken movies, and anything else you can imagine (even corn)! >.<
Yet I put up something like this which is a Lego animation with music from the series in which the custom minifigures are from that I worked very hard on and this is the crap I get!?

If anyone has any ideas on what I could do to save it, please let me know.
It would be totally appreciated.

Thanks for read what is (I guess) my first real rant post.

LEGO BLEACH

Hi there!
Been awhile since I put up a Lego animation, hasn't it?
Well here's my latest animated Lego feature which combines two favorite things of mine: The anime series called BLEACH and Lego.

Since the rescue Orihime story arc is kinda similar to the Rescue Rukia story arc, I thought I would use the opening song ( D-Technolife by UVERworld ) from the second season (Rescue Rukia story arc) showing scenes from the Rescue Orihime arc.

All the characters I custom made with stickers and clay.
You can see pictures of them here:
http://mocpages.com/folder.php/127533
Also there are some cameos of some other characters of another upcoming animation of mine. Think you can spot them without pausing the video? ;D

Anyway hope you all enjoy it. :3

2D Hottie Spotlight: Soi Fon

Hello there and welcome to another addition of my
2D Hottie Spotlight
So, who's gonna be under the spotlight today?
 Well...it's gonna be
Soi Fon from the anime series: Bleach

She's a Soul Reaper (which is like a Grim Reaper), Captain of in the 2nd Division ,and Commander of the Special Forces that protect the Soul Society (think of Heaven or maybe Limbo).
She specializes in shunpo and hand-to-hand combat unlike most Soul Reaper who use katanas and such.

Find out why I think she's a Hottie (even though she's pretty much flat chested) after the jump!

Bootleg Manga!?

It would seem that Nick Simmons, who is Gene Simmons' (lead singer of KISS) son, made a comic called Incarnate which it's art looks a lot like the highly popular manga series by Tite Kubo: Bleach
It was brought to the world's attention by user "Tetsujiin" from the
GameFaq Boards a few days ago and now news of this has spread like wildfire across the net.

Fans of the Bleach series spent much time trying to let Tite Kubo know of this startling news.

He responded to the news with two Tweets:

"Last night until this morning, I got a ton of "an American comic is copying Bleach!" messages from overseas fans! Looking at the site I don't speak English, but I saw something like "Gene Simmons' son Nick Simmons who draws manga-style comics."

Honestly, more than whether they remble each other or not, I wonder that Gene Simmons' son is a mangaka..."

As for my thoughts on the matter, you can see in the above picture there's difinitely a resemblance. I can understand being inspired by an artist and how your art can be influenced by that artist, because as an artist myself this happens to me too. But seeing that the panels, characters, and even the dialog are nearly identical, there is difinitely something fishy. I wasn't totally convinced that Nick Simmoms plagiarized Bleach since I thought was influenced by Tie Kudo's style until I saw a post on Live Journal that has a whole lot of comparison pictures between the two and how similar they look.
It's a real shame, I think the story had a lot of potential and could've been a real hit.

What a rip-off!

2D Hottie Spot Light: Rukia

Today's 2D Hottie Spot Light is: Rukia Kuchiki from the anime series: Bleach (no,not Clorox Bleach ;)

She is a Soul Reaper (similar to a Grim Reaper) in the 13th Division who meets Ichigo Kurosaki (who sees dead people and other supernatural things) and gives him her Soul Reaper powers in order to fulfill her duty to protect the living and bring the wondering souls to the Soul Society.
