A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...
I wasn't really interested in blogs or blogging.
Then saw that people and pastors from my church Flamingo Road Church had their own blogs on blogger (AKA Blogspot) which I thought were pretty cool and all but I still wasn't too into it.
2007
When Pastor Troy Gramling of FRC did a teaching series called
"My Naked Pastor" and he hosted a youtube video contest where contestants were to make a video explaining why they should be invited to the premiere party at his house for the controversially named teaching series.
So for two weeks I worked on making a two and half minute animated video with my old camera that came with the Steven Spielberg Lego Studios Movie Maker Kit.
August 28
I posted it on Youtube and entered the contest.
I posted it on Youtube and entered the contest.
Over night, it became an instant hit and out of 6,000 people I won.
I named it that because after I had won the contest, I became known as "The Lego Dude" by most of the Church. But surprisingly enough, I did not post anything until the following year.
2008
On March 6 I wrote a post about my excitement for Super Smash Bros. Brawl which was only a few days before it was to come out and I was to go opening night with my Uncle (who's an night owl) to my local GameStop to get my copy of the game I (like many other fans of the series) waited so long to get.
March 18
I made this blog and left my old blog in the sands of time thinking it was time to put the title "Lego Dude" to rest.
My new blog looked pretty much the same as my old one except I used the old header and changed the title to fit my new blog. I also added my playlist to my blog after seeing one of mom's friend's do it on their blog.
I would then go on to write post on a simi-regular basis til the end of the month where after it would go on a 4 month hiatus.
July 16 Only a few days before my birthday my Mom gave me an early birthday present(s) from Brick Forge and I would put a review of their products on my blog. After that, I would post simi-regularly,posted my art and movies, and I even wrote two game reviews during that time.
But After Thanksgiving, my blog went on a month hiatus until the next year.
2009
On January 13, I began posting again after I had posted my lastest animated video on the net.
From there on, I would post on pretty regularly with a few breaks in between.
Then December came and that's when I started to really work on my blog.
I made a new Banner that was in the spirit of Christmas and I changed the Background Color and Text Color too.
December 18th
I put up a series of post called the "The 8 Days of Christmas" where I showcased my Christmas related Art,Pictures, and other stuff.
December 23rd
I also added a counter and Feedjit Live so as to keep track of how many hits I actually get.
2010 and beyond!
In January, I started to changed certain things in my blog's overall layout, added a flag counter in order to see from where in the world people are coming from, added custom buttons to my other sites I'm on, started to write my own write articles, and add various other changes to make your experience here as enjoyable as possible. Believie It!
...and knowing is half the battle.
Here's a look at how my blog has evolved and how it continues to.
